Jesus Prayed For You!
Legacy. It takes planning. It take hard work. It takes sacrifice. It takes prayer. In the business world it is known as level 5 leadership, recognized as the pinnacle of leadership when you are able to reproduce results without you even being there. It is the ultimate test of leadership. What it requires is nothing less than love.

Scripture:
“My prayer is not for the disciples alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” – John 17:20,21
Observation/Application:
Jesus without question is the greatest leader of all time. He models everything that a god leader is made of. And look at Christianity today, what would be considered His legacy, I would say Jesus pretty well has the elite leadership award in the bank. he reproduced himself through his disciples.
But what Jesus did next was the secret formula for what every great leader should take note of. Jesus prayed to God our Father, for all believers, for all of time. That means Jesus prayed for you and me friend. How awesome is that? He prayed for us to be in full unity with him, just as Jesus is one with God our Father.
Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word. Thank you for revealing the fact that you prayed for all believers to be one with God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. We surrender fully to you Lord. Let your Wil be done in us. Use us Lord. Guide our every step, our every word, our every thought. Keep us from temptation and the attacks of the enemy. We give you all the honor, and glory, and praise, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
