To The Lord And His Anointed Goes The Victory!

When we turn to the Lord our God, and seek him with all our heart and all of our soul and all of our strength, He will supply all of our needs. The bible says that God will supply all our need according to His riches in glory. And in today’s scripture, we read that in addition to our needs, the Lord gives victory!

Scripture:
“Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.” – Psalm 20:6

Observation/Application:
Today’s scripture comes from Psalm 20. It is such an amazing 9 verses that say so much. Rather than go through it all, I’m just going to post it here for you. Read it and tell me if it does not lift you up and provide you with a whole new level of hope. Make it a great day, and may God bless you greatly!

  • Psalm 20
    May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
May he remember all your sacrifices
    and accept your burnt offerings.[b]
May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.
    Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
Lord, give victory to the king!
    Answer us when we call!

Scripture References From Today’s Reflection:

  • “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans strive after all these things, and your Heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” – Mathew 6:31-33
  • “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19
