Hearing And Following God’s Voice

Scripture of the Day: 
“When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.” – John 10:4

Observation/Application: 
The closer we get to God, the more that we get to know his voice. The more that we can hear his voice, the more that we can follow him. We hear his voice and follow what he is asking us to do. We want to follow his voice because we know that he is our protector. We know that He will keep us from harm. We know that with God everything is better. We learn of his power and strength. He guides us and never leads us astray. Can you hear God’s voice?

Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. Draw us close to you so that we can hear your voice. You are our protector, our healer, our redeemer, you are all things good. Give us the desire to want to read more of your Word every day. Fill our hearts and minds with your scripture. Protect us from the words that leave our lips. Let everything we say and do be for your glory, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
