Writing Down And Guarding God’s Vision

As we walk through the challenges that life brings, let us never forget that God equips the called. If He called us to do it, God will give us what we need to get it done. We just have to draw close to Him and pay attention to is voice. When we draw close, we can hear his voice. And the closer we get, the more we hear his voice.

Scripture of the Day:
“So Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to the scribe Baruch son of Neriah, and as Jeremiah dictated, Baruch wrote on it all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And many similar words were added to them.” – Jeremiah 36:32

Observation/Application:
God continually reveals to us exactly what we need in his Word. Once God’s Will is revealed, there are numerous scriptures that advise us to write it down and make it visible. As it says in Habakkuk 2:2, we need to write down the revelation and make it plain and easy to understand. Make it highly visible and keep it in front of our eyes. This will require writing it down.

From there know that we might be called to share the vision with people who might not understand from time to time. The Bible refers to this as casting the pearls before the swine. As with Jeremiah, those in charge might reject and even burn the vision that God gave us. But if God gave us a vision, he might also call us to share the vision even though others might not understand.

Even if God’s vision gets discounted and thrown into the fire, the importance of the vision from God has not changed. Just because others discount it doesn’t mean that we should. Listen to God not to man. If God gave it to us, hold on to it and don’t lose it. Tat might require us to write it down again when someone shoots it down and burns it. We might have to write it down and deal with it again.

God didn’t give us something valuable to allow it to be thrown into the fire. Let us be good stewards of the vision that God has given us. Stand firm in his Word and in His promise. When we face obstacles, turn to the Lord in prayer, and to God’s Word. Seek the Lord continually and do what He commands. Keep asking God for direction, and He will help. If God gave it to you, you can do it.

I call you blessed.

Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. Help us to seek you first each day. Fill us with your wisdom and vision Lord. Help us to be obedient to your Will, even when we don’t like it. Help us to hold on tight to your vision even when others reject it, discount it. make fun of it, or throw it into the fire. Give us discernment to not cast the pearls before the swine. Make it clear when we are supposed to share the vision and with whom. Most of all give us peace. We trust in you Lord. We know that you are working out all things for good. We give you all the honor and glory and praise, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
