How To Handle Really Big Problems
No matter what we are going through, whether it is a problem at home, in our relationships with our spouse, a difficult time at work, something with our health, or just having a hard time mentally for whatever reason, we have to remind ourselves that no problem is too big for our God. Instead of telling God how big our problem is, we need to tell our problems how big our God is.

Scripture:
“He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.” – Job 9:10
Observation/Application:
In the heat of the moment, and when the weight of the flesh is on is, reminding ourselves how big our God is can be difficult. The pain that we feel is very real, and it can overwhelm us. It becomes easy to just focus on what we can see, hear, smell, and touch. Our senses and our emotions can take control over us.
So how do we overcome the struggle, and the weight of the flesh? What do we do when all seems lost? How can we move forward in life knowing that everything is going to be okay? How can we live with peace and joy during these difficult times?
We have to speak this into existence, by declaring God’s promises over our lives. There is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in his name. There is power in the Word of God. When God speaks, miracles happen. In Genesis 1:3 God said, “Let there be light”, and there was light. He spoke all creation into existence. And the Word of God still carries that power today.

So no matter what challenge that we are facing, let God’s Word fall from our lips. Let us focus not on how big our problem is, but how big our God is. And let His mercies and goodness fill our lives, perform wonders that cannot be imagined, and miracles that cannot be counted. I call you blessed.
Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. Let us speak your Word over the problems that we face. Help us to focus on how big you are, not how big our problem is. You created the heaven and the earth, and everything in it. Nothing is too big for you. We give our worries and our struggles, our sadness and our fears over to you Lord. We give ourselves to you. We surrender to You. We put ourselves at your feet. And we know that you put the enemy under our feet, and declare your goodness and blessings in our lives. Encourage us, lift us up, bring us peace, and fill us with boldness knowing that if God is for us, no one and nothing can be against us. We praise your name, and give you all the glory, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
