Baptized And Alive!
What a glorious morning. It’s not even 9 in the morning and I’ve probably experienced every human emotion possible. I’ve been loved, laughed, learned, been hungry, thirsty, disappointed, refreshed physically, cleansed from the inside out, had heart-warming interactions, and felt sorrow learning of someone who died yesterday. Imagine what might be in store for the rest of the day!
Scripture:
“In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” – Romans 6:11
Observation/Application:
Today’s verse is the essence of why I started the “Baptized and Alive” website. Romans chapters 5,6,7,8 can change your life. I have no idea if a person who is not a Christian would have enough context to understand it. But as a Christian, I urge you to take 20 minutes and read it 7 days in a row, every single day, morning and evening. See if it does not change your heart.

Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word, and for this glorious day. Thank you for this life, for our home, our food, our family, our friends. Today is certainly the day that you have made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Let us appreciate all that you have done for us, and that you continue to do on our behalf. We are so grateful and thankful, and so humbled by your grace. Help us to live lives worthy of your sacrifice on the cross. Cleanse us from the inside out, as we are dead to sin, and alive in God through the power of the Holy spirit and Christ our Lord. Amen.
