Standing With The Word
The Word of god teaches us that no one will be able to stand against us. If God is with us, nothing can stop us. Nothing is impossible with God. No one will be able to stand against you. We put our trust in You God. We put our hope in You. But how can we believe this? For those who do not know the truth of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, this is totally against what the world teaches us. And in the flesh we are limited by what we can see. We can only see the physical world. We cannot see beyond the the flesh into the spiritual world that is all around us.
Scripture:
“No one will be able to stand against you. The Lord your God, as He promised you, will put terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.” – Deuteronomy 11:25
Observation/Application:
So if nothing can stand against our God, why does the enemy continue to advance against God in our world? War is being waged in our education systems where God is deliberately being pushed out. War has been waged in our courts where laws are being passed that contradict the Will of God, such as in the legalization of murdering babies (abortion). War has been waged in our art and entertainment where sin and evil is glorified. War had been waged in the news and media where Christianity is being mocked.
In my mind it all comes down to ownership and personal accountability. As Christians we need to take ownership in this battle that is being fought. There is much to do, and all of us have unique gifts and talents given by God to be used for His glory in this battle against the evil forces of this world. So what specifically can we do?

The first place to start is in our homes. How we raise our children and our youth are our greatest hope for the future. We need to raise up new leaders in the faith, young men and women who are equipped to withstand the attack of the enemy against our God. I have much hope in our youth and that we can turn the corner in our education systems with homeschooling on the rise. Huge progress has been made in availability of quality resources for educating our youth and succeeding where public schools are failing.
Another simple thing that all of us can do is actively support Christian leaders and those who God has called to lead our country and who will put God first. This person doesn’t have to necessarily live a perfect life, for we all fall short of the glory of God. As a matter of fact we don’t need someone perfect, but someone broken, someone who has made mistakes and who will put God first and never compromise our Lord and Savior. So we can vote, and we can help share information on social media and otherwise that supports leaders who will put God first.
This is just the beginning. There is much to do. What is important is that we don’t sit idle to the side while the enemy advances against our God. When we stand together for our Lord, and put God first in our lives, “no one will be able to stand against us.” We just have to stand with our Lord. Sitting idle to the side is not standing for our Lord. We have to understand what we have been called to do, and do it with excellence for the glory of God. In all things, let us do them unto the Lord. And we can have confidence in this, that all things are possible with Christ who strengthens me. The battle is far from over. And when God is with us, nothing can stand against us. Nothing can stand against our God.

Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, we give you all the honor and glory and praise this beautiful morning. As I sit here alone with You, enjoying my time with you in the Word, I am overcome with peace and understanding and wisdom. The world needs more of the Word, the beautiful and perfect unchanging Word of God. The world needs more of you. The world needs more Jesus. We humbly seek your face, and take time every day to fill ourselves up with more of you. Our hope is in you Lord. Help us to fill ourselves up with so much of you that it overflows, and so that the whole world can see your peace and joy. Let your light shine in and through s Lord as a beacon to the world. We are the church. It is up to us to shine, shine, shine. Let Your light shine in us today and always Lord. Help us to know our calling Lord, and to do what you have called us to do with excellence, for your purpose and glory. Let us not sit idly Lord, but do what you have called us to do, and to stand with Word and not the world. We give you all the honor and glory and praise, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
