Join the crowd. You are definitely not alone. Numerous studies today show that happiness continues to decline in America while GDP continues to climb. In addition, addictions are at an all-time high, with half of the population suffering from one or more addictions at any one time.

Scripture:
“All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” – 2 Timothy 3:16

Observation/Application:
The problems facing the world today are so numerous and so complex, yet the solution is so simple. We just need the Word of God and the love of Christ. All scripture is useful for teaching and training. It is useful for correcting and rebuking our behaviors and our ailments. Don’t believe me, immerse yourself in the Word of God through the daily reading and rigorous study of scripture and then tell me that I’m wrong.

Since I’ve started daily scriptural reading and study, God has answered every question I have ever asked, helped resolve any problem that I face, and give me the right perspective to deal with any situation, person, or group of people. Scripture teaches us what to do, rebukes us when needed, and trains and helps us in more ways than we could imagine.

Many people think that technical training is good. And it is. Other people would lean more toward interpersonal skills training, which is also good. But I cannot express enough the value of biblical training. It addresses the inside, the core, from which everything else flows. It secures our foundation which is the base upon which our lives are built.

Additionally, it is the best leadership training that a person could ever get. Who could argue that Jesus Christ is the best leader the world has ever seen? A leader is established by his followers, and Jesus Christ has the most followers by far. If you want to improve your leadership, study the life of Jesus.

My prayer for you today is that you come to know the overwhelming wisdom and power and peace that comes only through the love of God our Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. If you want more peace today, seek Jesus. If you want more wisdom today, seek Jesus. If you want more love, seek Jesus. For the Lord is our strength, our hope, and our joy! I call you blessed.

#Don’t-Worry-Be-Happy

Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word this morning, and always. Thank you for all of the teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training that you provide free to myself and all who seek you. Fill us with your Holy Spirit that we will overflow with your goodness and be a light unto your path. Help us to love everyone who you bring across our path today. Let every encounter be blessed. We seek you first, and give you all the honor and glory and praise, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
