Does God Help Us?
Scripture of the Day:
“Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you!
As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before you! For when you did awesome things that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains trembled before you. Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him. You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember your ways.” – Isaiah 64:1-5
Observation/Application:
God does help us. Our God is a God who shows up for his people. He stands before our enemies and fights our battles. And nothing that we face is too big for our God. For He created the heavens and the earth and all things in it. We just need to get out of our own way and give God control, fully surrender to Him, and believe. For without faith it is impossible to please God. And without faith we cannot expect the power of God to be released. But with God, all things are possible! Seek the Lord and trust in Him. Let God help whatever it is that you are facing today.
#Believe-And-Receive
Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. Help us to see your tangible presence among us. Reveal to us your hidden treasures. Help us to walk in your ways and be a light unto your path. Give us the wisdom to know your Will, the heart to follow it with passion and purpose, and the strength and courage to walk it out. Let each day be full of your love and grace and mercy. Let your peace surround us. Thank you for your Holy Spirit and your light within us. Help us to get out of our own way so that your light will shine brightly within us, and for the world to see. Let your power overcome our desires of the flesh. Help us to seek you first Lord in all that we do. Restore us a clean heart Lord. Protect us from the attacks of the enemy. Deliver us from evil. Restore our steps. Now we declare your goodness over our lives, because we know that your promise is true. We thank you in advance for all that you have done and are going to do. And we give you all the honor and glory and praise, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
