Scripture of the Day:
“He must become greater; I must become less.” – John 3:30
If we want the power of God in our lives, Christ must become greater and we must become less. The closer that we draw to Christ, the more that we become like Him. The more we are like Christ, the less we get in the way of God’s Spirit power that lives in us.
Let us draw close to our Lord Jesus Christ today! Seek the Lord in all that you do, and he will direct our path!
If God is for us, nothing can stand against us!
I call you blessed.
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. Fill us with more of you. Empty us of ourselves, and let your Holy Spirit overflow in and through us. Guide our every word, our every step, our every thought. Deliver us from evil. Remove the darkness that surrounds us, that your light can shine through for all to see. Draw us closer to you each day Lord. We are open to receive you now, and all that you have promised. We give you all the honor and glory and praise, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
