Scripture of the Day:
“Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.” – John 12:35
Yesterday we talked about the dangers of walking in darkness. Today I want to talk about the window of opportunity that might be shorter than we think. We do not know when will be our last day on this earth, so we should be prepared for the hour we all must face when our flesh dies. The light switch might get turned off before you anticipated. Then what? seek the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, and you will find him. Read God’s Word, pray, praise him, cry out to him, repeat.
I call you blessed.
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. We seek you first Lord. Reveal to us your glory. Let the scales that blind us fall from our eyes. We believe. Help our unbelief. For we know not when the hour is near. Pour out your Holy Spirit in us. We give you all the honor and glory and praise, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
