Torn, Lost, Down, Confused?
Scripture of the Day:
“Whenever I speak, I cry out proclaiming violence and destruction. So the word of the Lord has brought me insult and reproach all day long. But if I say, “I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name, his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.” – Jeremiah 20:8-9
Observation/Application:
Some days are better than others. Some days you feel like you can’t win. No matter what what you do, everything goes against you. But the struggle is not always external, it is sometimes internal in our own minds. Don’t beat yourself up when you have a down day. None of us is perfect.
What is important is how we respond when we get knocked down. We look to Jesus and trust in God’s Word. We pray. We get back up. We step out in faith. We praise Him for all of His goodness and the blessings that will be restored. For our God is good. When we are torn inside, down, lost, or confused, we put our trust in the Lord.
I call you blessed.

Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. We give you all the honor and glory and praise. Fill us with your goodness. Fill us with your truth. Fill us with your Word. Let it flow from our lips and bring life into these dry bones. Let your name be always upon our lips. We love you Lord, we love you Lord, we love you Lord. We give you all the honor and glory and praise, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
