The Best Life Coach Ever!
I am not, nor do I claim to be, the smartest kid on the block. As a matter of fact, when I was young I remember having to buckle down on my studies to get better grades. And to excel in college, I studied about twice as much as everyone else. Same holds true when I graduated from college and started my career. If I worked hard enough, I could do just about anything that I set my mind to. But although I was able to have much success, I eventually hit a plateau. And to break through to the next level, I needed some advice. I needed help seeing my blind spots. I needed a wise coach and mentor.

“Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.” – John 7:16
Observation/Application:
It’s funny how when I fully surrendered to Christ, everything that I ever dreamed of in life came to pass. And without question God showed me the way. Peace, joy, love, appreciation, a heart so full that it overflows, the most amazing friends – the list goes on and on. Many of these blessings I somewhat anticipated, although never fully comprehended, through testimonies of others who have been saved by God’s grace. But the one blessing that really took me by surprise was the wisdom and revelation that comes through God’s Word.
The breakthrough came when I started reading and journaling every day. Through this time in the Word, answers to every question, every problem, and every situation is revealed. It’s like the answers just jump off the pages at me. All my challenges at work, in any of my relationships, advice for friends who are having problems, even questions that are on my heart that I am not able to understand, everything becomes clear. It’s absolutely amazing what is revealed during time in the Word.
When we seek the Lord, and surrender to Him, all of His blessings are available to us. Wisdom is one of these great blessings. If you need more wisdom, if you need to break through to the next level, there is no better life coach than the Word of God. May the Word of God bring you wisdom and clarity in all of your situations, and bless you richly.
Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. Thank you for revealing the wisdom that only comes from you Lord. Guide our every step, our every thought, our every word. We surrender fully to You. Refresh us, restore us, renew us Lord. We give You all the honor and glory and praise. Amen!
