Christianity and Love
In its most basic form, Christianity is all about love. The bible tells us about the love of God for us, and provides a model of how we are to love each other. All throughout Jesus’s life he told us and showed us how to love. And as Christians, we know the secret to this life is walking in the Lord’s Presence, with a heart full of love, with actions that reflect this love.

Scripture: “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:35
Observation/Application:
A very popular hymn that we learn in our childhood that warmly reflects this Christian fundamental principle is, “And they’ll know we are Christians by our love.”
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord

We will work with each other, we will work side by side

Let our actions match the love in our hearts this very special time of year as we prepare to celebrate the birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. Fill our hearts with your love. Let is overflow in us. During the chaos, and the noise, as the world fights and fusses, let your love win. Let your love rule in our hearts. Help your love to be so present in our hearts that our actions are filled with love and mercy. Let others know we are Christians by our love. We give you all the honor and glory and praise, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
