Small Daily Steps Toward Victory

Scripture of the Day:
“A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. ‘Give glory to God by telling the truth,’ they said. ‘We know this man is a sinner.’ He replied, ‘Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see’!” – John 9:24-25

Observation/Application:
When Jesus healed the blind man, the people who opposed Jesus were defeated by results. While everyone was speaking words and debating, Jesus was busy doing.

Whatever it is that we are facing, we too can silence the opposition by delivering results. We don’t need the ultimate and final victory in one big effort. We can take incremental steps of accomplishment that get us a little close to the goal each day. Jesus performed miracles and taught every day on the way to his final victory.

What small accomplishments can you make today that will get you closer to your goal? What ones can you commit to tomorrow? Practice setting small micro-sized daily goals that you can succeed in every day. Over time, you’ll be surprised how far you’ve come.

I call you blessed.

#Daily-Daily-Daily

Prayer:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today. Thank you for waking me up and getting me through the day. Thank you for energizing my bones and filling me with your Spirit. We seek you first Lord. Help us to reach out to you first for anything that we need. You know our hearts Lord. Help our shortcomings and our unbelief. We give you all the honor and glory and praise, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
